Pros & Cons — Honest Review
Pros
- The only tri-band unit combining Band 8 voice, Band 3 4G and Band 1 3G at the 2000 m² enterprise tier — one box, one power supply, one install for mixed-carrier sites.
- Up to 2000 m² coverage and up to 200 simultaneous users, suited to large warehouses, multi-floor enterprise offices, hotel blocks, showrooms and country estates.
- ≥27 dBm max output and ≥70 dB downlink / ≥65 dB uplink gain deliver the stronger re-broadcast signal needed to reach the larger area and more users.
- EE, BT, ASDA, Virgin, Orange and T-Mobile customers receive the complete 2G + 3G + 4G package on a single plan.
- 8 dBi weatherproof directional Yagi targets weak fringe donor signal on the chimney, gable or external mast.
- Three, iD, SMARTY, Plusnet and Freedom Pop users get boosted 3G + 4G indoors on Band 1 and Band 3.
- Ofcom licence-exempt, UKCA/CE certified with AGC; no monthly fee, no new SIM contract, insert your existing SIM.
- 365-day money-back guarantee and free shipping to 15 European countries; DIY install in 30–60 minutes with standard tools; cable upgradeable to 50 m and extra indoor panels supported.
Cons
- At £1390.38 it is a premium enterprise flagship — the dual-band GD2000 and GW2000 at £685.08 cover the same 2000 m² with only two bands, so you pay £705.30 for the third band and the 200-user capacity.
- O2 and Vodafone customers get 2G calls + 3G but no 4G LTE: their 4G rides Band 20 (800 MHz), which the GDW2000 does not support; choose a Band 20 unit if 4G speed is the main pain.
- The standard 10 m outdoor cable may need the 20/30/40/50 m upgrade for a 2000 m² enterprise site with a far chimney, gable or external mast.
- Outdoor Yagi and indoor panel need 10 m vertical separation to prevent self-oscillation; tight single-floor layouts are hard to fit.
- No 5G on any band, and no Band 20 (800 MHz) or Band 7 (2600 MHz) 4G.
- Free delivery takes 10–15 working days after 1–2 days handling — it is not next-day.
- The indoor antenna is only 5 dBi; full coverage at the far zones of 2000 m² may require additional indoor panels and passive splits rather than one panel alone.
- Requires 1–2 bars of outdoor donor signal; it cannot create signal where none exists outside.
Where the GDW2000 Works
Very Large Country House / Estate (Up to 2000 m²)
A ten-plus-bedroom detached house, country estate or extended family home where mixed EE, Three and O2/Vodafone SIMs finally hold calls, 3G and 4G across every floor, up to 200 family and guest devices.
Enterprise Office / Team (Up to 200 Users)
A 100–200 person office, showroom hall, medical practice or trade counter where staff phones and data SIMs hold calls and 4G across desks, meeting rooms and the back office under the 200-user cap.
Garage / Workshop / Outbuilding Complex
A large workshop, garage, trade yard or garden building complex separated from the main house by solid construction, fed by the chimney-mounted Yagi and centrally placed indoor panels.
Metal Building / Warehouse / Farm Shed
A large steel-clad warehouse, portable cabin or farm building that normally blocks all signal; the Yagi pulls fringe donor signal and ≥27 dBm output pushes it through the metal shell across 2000 m².
Frequently Asked Questions — Real UK Enterprise Questions
How does the 2000m² GDW2000 differ from the 1000m² sibling booster?
Both are tri-band Band 8+3+1 units with the same 8 dBi Yagi, 5 dBi indoor panel and 10 m+5 m N-type cable, but the GDW2000 covers up to 2000 m² for up to 200 users with at least 65 dB uplink gain and at least 70 dB downlink gain, while the 1000 m² sibling covers up to 1000 m² for up to 100 users at lower gain. Choose 2000 m² for a large warehouse, multi-floor enterprise office, showroom hall or country estate; the 1000 m² tier suits a single large office floor or a large detached home. Output power is at least 27 dBm on both.
How do 200 simultaneous users work, and which enterprise sites fit the GDW2000?
The GDW2000 supports up to 200 phones or data devices connected at the same time, which fits a 100–200 person office, a large warehouse floor, a hotel corridor block, a showroom hall or a country estate. It is shared RF capacity: every connected device uses the boosted bands, and beyond 200 active users the signal thins out. A busy call-centre, a multi-storey headquarters or a campus-wide DAS network needs a dedicated commercial distributed antenna system rather than one booster box.
What does ≥70dB downlink gain mean on the GDW2000, and why is it higher than the 1000m² unit's ≥65dB?
Downlink gain (Gp) in dB measures how much the amplifier strengthens the signal coming down from the mast to your phone. The GDW2000 provides at least 70 dB downlink gain (and at least 65 dB uplink gain), versus at least 65 dB downlink on the 1000 m² sibling — an extra 5 dB, roughly a 3.2 times larger amplification factor, which is needed to lift weaker fringe donor signal before re-broadcasting across 2000 m² for 200 users. Max output stays at least 27 dBm.
Should I buy the tri-band GDW2000 at £1390.38 or a £685.08 dual-band GD2000/GW2000?
The GD2000 covers Band 8+3 (calls + 4G) at 2000 m² for £685.08 and the GW2000 covers Band 8+1 (calls + 3G) at 2000 m² for £685.08. The GDW2000 adds the missing third band — 3G fallback on Band 1 for the GD2000, 4G on Band 3 for the GW2000 — for £705.30 more, plus the 200-user capacity. Buy the GDW2000 only when you genuinely need all three services, mixed-carrier SIMs across a large enterprise site, or future-proofing; if you need just voice + 4G, the GD2000 saves money.
Can I add more indoor antennas to cover the 2000m² multi-zone site, and what cable upgrades exist?
Yes. The single 5 dBi panel covers the central area; for the far zones of a 2000 m² floor you add extra indoor panels through passive splits to even out coverage. The included 10 m outdoor cable upgrades to 20 m (+£20), 30 m (+£30), 40 m (+£40) or 50 m (+£50) for remote chimneys, gables or masts; a high-gain aerial (+£50) and surge protector (+£20) are also available. Keep each added panel at least 10 m below the Yagi to avoid feedback.
Can a business install the GDW2000 commercially, and is a survey or engineer required?
The GDW2000 is a DIY, Ofcom licence-exempt unit that a business can install itself in 30–60 minutes with a drill, screwdriver, spanner and ladder; no engineer visit, call-out charge or Ofcom licence is required. Mount the 8 dBi Yagi outdoors at 3–5 m aiming at the nearest mast, run the N-type coax through a drilled wall, place the 5 dBi indoor panel centrally at least 10 m below the Yagi, connect the 5 m indoor coax, and plug in the UK 3-pin adapter. Very large or multi-zone sites may still choose a paid commercial survey, but it is not mandatory.
How much outdoor donor signal do I need before the GDW2000 can work on a 2000m² enterprise site?
At least 1–2 bars of usable outdoor signal (on Band 8, Band 3 or Band 1) at the Yagi mounting point on the roof, chimney, gable or external mast. A booster amplifies the donor signal it receives; it cannot create signal where none exists outside. If your phone shows zero bars and emergency calls only at the loading door, this unit will not work, and neither will any Ofcom-legal booster at this price.
What does the 365-day money-back guarantee cover, and who pays return shipping?
The GDW2000 carries a 365-day money-back guarantee: if it does not work for your location, return it by mail within 365 days for a refund. Return shipping is deducted from the refund (return fees apply under MerchantReturnFiniteReturnWindow); it is not a free-return label. Keep the original packaging for the return.
How long is delivery, is it next day, and which countries are served?
Standard delivery is free: order handling takes 1–2 working days and UK transit takes 10–15 working days, so it is not next-day. The same free shipping policy covers 15 countries: GB, DE, FR, IT, ES, NL, BE, AT, SE, DK, FI, IE, PT, PL and CZ. Urgent enterprise orders should plan around the 10–15 day lead time.
How do I deploy the GDW2000 across a warehouse or large office floor?
For a warehouse or open-plan office, mount the Yagi on the highest available point aimed at the mast, route the 10 m (or upgraded) outdoor coax to a central equipment position, and place the 5 dBi panel in the middle of the floor; for 2000 m² split the signal with passive splits to add panels near shelving aisles, meeting rooms and the back office. Test every zone with a phone before final fixing, and keep 10 m vertical separation between the Yagi and every indoor panel.

Custom your solution
Expandable coverage by adding indoor antenna if the outside signal is strong.
How It Works

1
The powerful antenna reaches out to access a voice and 3G, 4G, and LTE data signal, and delivers it to the booster
2
The booster receives the signal, amplifies it, and serves as a relay between your phone and the nearest cell tower.
3
Your devices get increased cell reception, and calls and data are fed through the booster back to the network.
Get stronger signal
Normal Cell Coverage
Dropped calls and slow data are generally caused by three things: distance from a cell tower, building materials in your home or office, or obstruction from tall objects such as trees, topography, and buildings.
Signal Coverage with our booster
Signal boosters increase cell signal by collecting signals with a powerful antenna, delivering those signals to the booster, amplifying the cell signals so your devices receive them, and delivering your device's boosted signals back to the cell tower.Installation
- Connect the indoor antenna to the MS port.
- Connect the outdoor antenna to the BS Port.
- Install the outdoor antenna and keep a minimum vertical distance of 10 meters from the indoor antenna.
- Point the outdoor antenna to the direction where you know there is possibly a higher signal strength from the base station.
- Power on the booster and check the signal strength.
- Adjust the outdoor antenna until you get the best signal strength.
