Step 1: Find the Strongest Outdoor Signal
Walk around your property with a phone in 2G/3G-only mode and note where signal is strongest. This is where the outdoor antenna goes. Use the CellMapper app to locate the nearest O2/Vodafone mast.
Step 2: Mount the Outdoor Antenna
Mount the 8 dBi Yagi antenna on an exterior wall, pole or chimney using the included bracket. Point it toward the nearest mast. Ensure at least 5 m vertical separation from the indoor antenna to prevent oscillation.
Step 3: Run the Cable
Run the 10 m coaxial cable from the outdoor antenna through a window, vent or drilled hole to the booster unit location indoors. Avoid running cable near electrical interference sources.
