Step 1: Find the Strongest Outdoor Signal
Walk around your property with a phone in 2G/3G-only mode and note where signal is strongest. Use the CellMapper app to locate the nearest O2/Vodafone mast and its direction. For large properties, the strongest signal point may be on a specific side of the building.
Step 2: Mount the Outdoor Antenna
Mount the 10 dBi Yagi antenna on an exterior wall, roof pole or chimney using the included bracket. Point it toward the nearest mast. Ensure at least 5 m vertical separation from the indoor antenna. For rural weak-signal areas, roof or pole mounting at 5+ m height is recommended.
Step 3: Run the Cable
Run the 15 m coaxial cable from the outdoor antenna through a vent, window gap or drilled hole to the booster location. Avoid running cable near fluorescent lights, HVAC motors or WiFi routers. For 4+ storey buildings, upgrade to 20 m or 30 m cable at checkout.
Step 4: Connect and Power On
